Parent Partnership
at Yüme

Research shows that involving parents and carers in their children´s learning is the most important factor in enabling some children to do well regardless of background.

Working in partnership with parents and carers is central to the early years foundation stage (EYFS). The relationship starts by visiting us as this will help to choose the right nursery for your child.

We offer a range of opportunities for parents and carers to become involved in their children’s learning, this might include daily chats with key persons; attending a workshop on different areas of learning; going on trips with us, home visits; regular phone calls to ensure you feel supported.

Parent Partnership

Throughout the year you will be given the possibility to participate in the activities mentioned and some other events that are fixed through the years such us:

Parents Evenings

We invite parents to attend a Parent-Teacher Meeting. This provides you with the valuable opportunity to meet your child´s key person and discuss their progress. During the meeting, you can explore a variety of teaching methods and resources displayed, including your child

Termly Reports

At the end of the Autumn Term and Summer Term, we will send out comprehensive reports detailing your child´s progress throughout the term. These reports serve as an overview of your child's achievements and milestones.

Winter Celebration

Towards the end of the year, we organise a special event where children and parents come together to enjoy a delightful performance.

Our winter celebration event serves as a platform to nurture children's artistic abilities, boost their self-expression, and cultivate a love for music and movement. It also provides a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to bond over shared experiences and celebrate the festive spirit together.

Sports Day

Once a year, we hold a vibrant and exciting event known as Sports Day, which brings together children, parents, and the entire school community in a celebration of athleticism and teamwork.

Sports Day is a special occasion where children showcase their physical abilities and teamwork through a variety of fun and engaging sports activities and events. It is an opportunity for children to actively participate in friendly competitions, fostering a sense of healthy competition and encouraging them to give their best effort.

Curriculum Sessions

We conduct curriculum sessions every term, specifically tailored for different age groups. These sessions are designed to keep parents informed and provide a clear understanding of what their child will be engaged in throughout each term.
Attending these curriculum sessions allows parents to stay up to date with the educational activities and learning objectives that are planned for their child's specific age group. It provides valuable insights into the curriculum content, teaching approaches, and the skills and knowledge that will be emphasized during the term.

Coffee Mornings & Parent Networking

During our coffee mornings, you will have the opportunity to share your suggestions and provide us with valuable feedback on how we can further improve our services. These casual gatherings offer a relaxed setting where open discussions can take place, fostering a collaborative relationship between our team and parents like you.

Additionally, we organize network evenings to bring together families within our community. These events serve as a platform for you to meet and connect with other families, creating opportunities to discover shared interests and experiences. It's a wonderful chance to build new relationships and expand your social network within our supportive community.

Hartbeeps Sessions

We welcome parents and babies to join us in these enriching Heartbeeps sessions, where they can embark on a journey of sensory exploration, music, movement, and bonding experiences. Together, we can create a loving and supportive environment for babies to flourish.
