Yüme Book Recommendation: Kids’ London, by Emmy Watts
This new release by Hoxton Mini Press has a lot of great ideas and recommended places for children to visit this summer. Some of our favourite include:
- Children’s Garden in Kew Garden (@kewgardens). Other attractions include the tropical glasshouses, a treetop walk and the sculpture of The Hive.
- Apple Tree London (@appletreelondon). A lovely café and play space in Brixton for parents and children to enjoy delicious fresh food, along with sensory explorations, and role play activities.
- PICNIC (@picnicplaycentres). This play centre and café combines both educational and everyday life scenarios, in a fun, engaging way, with realistic, toys and resources including a supermarket, theatre and fire station, and a city town hall.
Bockett’s Farm (@bockettsfarm)
This is not in the book, but we highly recommend this countryside farm in the heart of Surrey. Sheeps, goats, llamas, ponies, pigs, rabbits, among many other animals, and tractor rides, your children will love this day at the farm.
How about yours? Where’s your family going this summer?
